The Master (MBA) program consists of management track and the information system track. It focuses on enhancing the skills of students' system development and knowledge integration. In addition to the department-required courses, students can select either management track or information system track to their own interest, and complete their master thesis of the selected track. The required courses for Information System track are 4 out of 6 courses, and 3 for Management track plus 3 more elective courses.

The program training explicitly concentrates on the integration of information technology, business administration, and decision science. The learning goals for graduate students are that after completing the study our students will:

  • comprehend general management knowledge;
  • be able to define problems, analyze, interpret, and evaluate findings;
  • be able to address potential domain issues in the global environment;
  • have the ability to address the impacts of domain decisions on social issues;
  • be skilled in effective oral and written communications.

To elaborate the goals, the curriculum of Master program is designed to have a two-year of study. The focus for the first study year will be the enhancement of the training of both management knowledge and information technologies through course taking to help fulfill the learning goals. The courses include: Research Methods, Modern Business Strategy, Introduction to the Economics of Information, Management Accounting, Innovation Management and Industrial Strategies, Financial Management, Customer Relationship Management, Creative Marketing on Internet, Human Resource Management, Strategic Management, Software Engineering, Software Processes and Management, Business Intelligence, Mobile Network Technology and Applications, Intelligent Information Systems, and several academic and industry-focused seminars

For the second study year, it will be the focus of the planning and integration of information technology and business strategy. It also includes a series of courses and seminars, offering various and multiple important venues and supplements to student's knowledge. A thesis is required at the end of the second study year for the completion of the master program.
